English Language Challenges

I really like this signature here in the university, in my school the English level was really bad and I and learned English playing video games... that's the way to learn english for me in the school, if I wanted to survive in the game I needed to communicate with the rest of the people so I learned english by myself and that's the reason because I like this signature here in the university, the teacher speak in english all the time so its like in the video game... if I don't understand what the teacher says I can do nothing, as in the game... so I really like this class and the blogs have a special thing for me...  In the normal life when somebody speak in english I can understand everything but when I try to have a conversation with the other person I feel like Tarzan... the blogs are a really good way to learning to express me without feeling me as Tarzan. At this point I think my english level are good but i need to learn more and have more conversations in english... i my daily life i don`t speak too much in english but I see many videos, movies and series in english so i feel really confortable with the language and now I can have a decent conversation with other people, my friend "Mal" for example, he is a British diplomatic who lives here in Santiago (how I know him? it's a long story) so I speak with him some days in the week and he teach me some things about the language (with British accent) and its a good way to grew up in the language.

Changes....

well... im going to start saying something important, this year the University made changes to the program of the career of Musical Interpretation and it was very poor changes in my opinion... not for the subjects (the subjects objetive are great, but the way in which is taught is bad), its for the organization of the Music Department who create this subjects but doesn't` have teachers for that subjects, some subjects had no teacher until the middle of march! Well... let`s go to the important part.

One of the most important changes that I would like to do is a change of infrastructure, we have a old building.. but that`s are not bad, but we have a old building without money to make some restorations and important reparations (like the elevator who fall down every week) and that make many problems for the students and for the teachers, we have a significant number of teachers of more than 70 years and the don't have a decent elevator? thats a big problem.. other problem are the old teachers BUT all of them, just a few of them who are called for some people how the "Vacas Sagradas", they are very old teachers than nobody can take off because they have circles of influence in the faculty and I think.. the need a change in that point.  In the curriculum I think we don't have to make more changes for now, the changes of this year was good in my opinion so im waiting to see what happen with that.

Great places to eat

Unfortunately I don't have JUNAEB card.... so I will focus on the restaurants I know to make this small blog.... so, let's see.

In my 4 years living in Santiago I have the opportunity to eat in many places, some very cheap places, places with reasonable prices, places with a little expensive prices, very expensive places and some stupidly expensive places.... so I will choose a place by each category of price so you can go if you wish

Very cheap places: I will Choose this place because this place save me very times when i doesn't have too much money to eat, this place is "Lucky Panda" its located in front of the "Instituto Nacional" and they make some weird Chinese fast food, its really tasty and not expensive

Reasonable Prices: I will choose this place because is next to te university, its in a street in the middle of Catedral street between Teatinos and Morande, its a Peruvian restaurant and you can eat a full lunch for only 3.000 pesos

Little Expensive: I will choose this place because i love the oriental food and this place make me very happy, its located in patronato and the name of the place is "Hansoban" here you can eat really tasty Korean food, you can cook the meat for yourself, its a really funny experience and the flavors of the food are really fantastic, its a little expensive so you can go 1 time in a month if you want

Very Expensive: I will choose this place because its in a very "touristic" place, all of you go to this place some time in the week, its located in the Costanera Center and the name of the restaurant is "Senz" I told you.. I love the oriental food so I love sushi, this place have a really GREAT sushi but its really expensive,  3 persons (or in my case, 2 really hungry persons) can eat for 57.000 a really great and tasty menu for 3 (I told u... 2 really hungry persons) but the food are amazing, I recommend this place

Stupidly Expensive: I will choose tis place because the food are amazing, the place are beautiful and the service are fantastic.... this place is "Ambrosía" restaurant, this place is really amazing.... but one diner for 2 persons can destroy you pocket, if you doesn't read the prices you can eat easily 30.000 only for you and for 2 persons can go easily to 70.000 or more, it's a fantastic place and I recommend it for you but only one time in a year jajaja.

My favorites activities in my holidays.... I really doesn't know that but I like the historical tours and learn about the city and the history of the city or something like that... and obviously... eat all the food in Buenos Aires, I really like the food of Argentina, the meat its great.... really fantastic, and I think if I go to Argentina Im going to lose my money very fast in the food, my girlfriend told me something very interesting about the Chinese food in Buenos Aires, some restaurants of Chinese food sell's you the food by weight, and at the 3 pm they put a unique price to the tray of food.... you can put all of you want in the tray and you pay the price of the tray.... its a dream come true, too much food and a very low price, sounds amazing for me

Street Art

When I was a child in my city Antofagasta I didn't know what was the Street art but i saw it every day in the travel to my school, I grew up sorrounded by murals but I did not know what they were and when I grew up I realized what they were and I fell in love with my city Antofagasta

I love the murals in the streets, Antofagasta have thousands of murals, doesn't exist one street without a mural and I think that's fantastic, every street with a mural, every street with a story... It's a beautiful connection between the story of the city and the art, many buildings have murals too, the "Municipalidad" the Theater, many schools have murals too(my school have 2 big murals inside the school and I work in one of them) and I think that's the reason of my love to the murals.

I leave a list of links for you to see a few of the murals in my city (i not understand why the page not let me put the pictures)

Postgraduate studies

I really doesn't know if im going to course a postgraduate, I think that option a few times but my career doesn't have many options for a postgraduate degree so my option is study a postgraduate in interpretation or ancient music

My option to study start in a other country, in Europe, more specifically in Germany, my plan is study in Berlin or Frankfurt but i don't really know where, i see the postgraduate very far in this moment.
I like to study part-time because I need time to work and make some money to live, that is very difficult studying in a full time degree, so part-time is my option.

Obviously the language is a problem but I think that could learn German very fast (that is the plan) but I can communicate in english in the first weeks so i can have a time to learn german (and i can learn a little of german here in chile, that's the other option) because when i was a children i spoke german but i forget all... i don't know how but I forget all the german, I can understand some words when the people are talking in German, So I think i could learn German very fast.

My future job

My dream job..... In my life I have had many dream jobs, veterinary, spaceman, billionaire (when i was a child i thought billionaire was a work), but 5 years ago I had a "revelation" about my future, I dreamed whit being a Opera singer and i think thats my future job, now I am working as a Opera singer in some productions of the University of Chile but I'm also working in another place, I currently work at Kidzania and it was a really good experience, work whit children its really stressful but i really like it, work whit children is amazing.

I think in the future and i dream to sing in the most important opera theaters of the world (as all those who study lyrical sing), travel for Europe singing in every country and making people happy whit my voice. I don't want to be a sad person in one office all the day doing the same bored thing for 40 years, I really want to do something that i'll be proud of it, so... i was thinking... if i like to sing and i like to sing, why i don't dedicate to be a teacher? if my Opera singer worldwide career doesn't work.... i can be a sing teacher, In the past i had some students and i really enjoyed the experience so it can be a option for the future.

In the second day we went to the Japanese Garden, its a beautiful garden and have many birds to see, a little river and a cascade, I recomend this garden, its a really good place to see and for take really nice photos. we met the center of the city and we gave a small tour for many places. In the last day we relax and we go to coquimbo to visit some friends, and i think that was my little holidays.

A country I'd like to visit

A country I'd like to visit is Germany
I really want to go to this country because I have many friends and family in Germany, my grandfather and my mom are from germany and I am doing the paperwork to get the double nationalityMy family come from a small village (now not to small, the village have a population of 13 thousands of people) near frankfurt called "Bad Soden-Salmünster", itsa really beautifull place, most of its homes are old, they have a big ancient tower of a castle in the high of the hill and its amazing, when i was a child I dream many times with go to that tower and see the village with my grandfather. Other reasons to visit Germany was the food, the music, the oportunity to learn a new language... and.... the posibility to drink the greater variety of beers that i can find (I am a lover of the beer), i need to go to the oktoberfest one time in my life.
